Denison Mines Corp. is engaged in uranium mining and related activities, including acquisition, exploration and development of uranium bearing properties, extraction, processing, selling and reclamation.

Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:IDTI) rose 10.48% to $6.22 on high volumes. Earlier this week, the company reported a profit in the first quarter from a loss a year ago, helped by a significant increase in revenue. The company recorded a net income of $10.4 million or $0.06 per share, compared with a loss of $14.1 million or $0.09 per share last year.

Non-GAAP net income rose to $23.3 million or $0.14 per share from non-GAAP net income of $3.5 million or $0.02 per share last year.

Ferro Corporation (NYSE:FOE) increased 11.56% to $10.23 on over 3.46 million shares. Ferro Corporation is a producer of specialty materials and chemicals that are sold to a range of manufacturers who, in turn, make products for end-use markets.

PrivateBancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ:PVTB) was one of the most active stocks and gained 14.06% to $12.09 on over 1.66 million shares. The company posted a narrower-than-expected second-quarter loss as a growth in interest income helped offset a rise in provision for bad loans. Net loss attributable to common shareholders was $818,000, or 1 cent a share, compared with a profit of $2.5 million, or 6 cents a share, a year ago.
