(EMAILWIRE.COM, September 21, 2010 ) New York, NY-Deutsche Bank AG (USA) (NYSE:DB) closed 2.03% higher at $61.46 after 2.24 million shares of trade. The company said Monday that it priced a new share offering at 33 euros, or about $43.12, a share. The offering will issue 308.6 million new shares in Germany and the United States. The bank expects to raise about 10.2 billion euros, or $13.33 billion.

Over the past 52-weeks, the stock traded within the range of $54.14-$84.93. The average daily volume of the stock is 1.33 million shares.

Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE:CAT) increased 2.15% to close at $74.75. The company said today that they won a long-term Department of Defense contract to provide wheeled tractor scrapers for $641.2 million. The machines will be used by the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army for construction and engineering projects, Caterpillar said. The five-year contract, if extended up to 10 years, could result in the delivery of 909 wheeled tractor scrapers.

Today, the stock made its fresh 52-week high of $74.80.

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) rose 1.31% to $28.54 on over 28.53 million shares.AT&T Inc. was upgraded to outperform, or a buy rating by Credit Suisse on Monday, with the broker predicting the wireless carrier can maintain its position against rival Verizon even if the latter gets access to the iPhone next year.

The stock is very close to its 52-week high of $28.73. At today`s closing market price, the market capitalization of the stock stood at $168.64 billion.

Shares of United States Steel Corporation (NYSE:X) fell 1.65% to close the day at $45.44 after 14.74 million shares of trade. An analysts at Goldman Sachs cut the stock-price target on the steel companies. Goldman analysts said they expect steel prices to remain "range-bound" in the near future with added competition from ThyseenKrupp's flat roll mill. Goldman cut its price target on the stock by 12% to $45 a share.

Today, the stock opened at $45.50 and was trading within the range of $44.35-$45.66. The volumes were quite high today at 14.74 million shares as compared to its daily average volume of 12.65 million shares.
